I currently subscribe to about 100 RSS feeds with Google Reader. I don’t read every post; I typically have a good idea of whether it will be helpful to me by the title or the first paragraph. If not, it gets marked as read and I move on. Things that I start to read and want to get back to later or want to read again, get left in there until I accumulate too many, then I go on a “mark as read” spree. I really like to keep it at a minimum.
But what about things I want to find later? I can’t always remember which blog I read it on! One thing I’ve see a couple other people do is a blog round-up — once a week or once a month list recent posts they found useful. It is helpful to the readers of that blog, lends credibility to the person posting the blog, and also is a helpful method of bookmarking for the individual.
So, I expect to have a round-up late this week, or early next week. (It’ll have to work around my house closing and move. ;D )
